THE NEW Prince and Princess of Wales are planning to keep their children in school following the Queen’s death.

The couple, want to keep things ‘as normal as possible’ for their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Prince William and Princess Kate have bene busy attending ceremonies and meeting with mourners paying their respects to the Queen and her family in this difficult time.

But they are understood to want to keep things ‘as normal as possible’ for their children.

Teacher Elaine Gee, 58, had to opportunity to speak to both Will and Kate at Windsor Castle on Saturday as the royals met well-wishers.

Speaking to People, the teacher revealed the Prince opened up about navigating his family through this difficult time.

Elaine recalled: “I told him how I work at a school and how it’s been a strange year celebrating the Jubilee and now it’s all changed and we are talking about this.

“He spoke about George, Charlotte and Louis, saying that they were trying to keep some sense of continuity for them at school and keep things as normal as possible.”

Their decision comes at no surprise as the children started at a new school this year.

Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven, as they have started a new school, the £7,000-a-term Lambrook School near Ascot, Berkshire.

Their younger brother Prince Louis, four, has also joined them this year as he starts school.

The teacher also got the chance to speak to Kate, and praised the princess on how well she was handling herself during a period if intense grief.

“Catherine thanked me, and she said that all the nation were feeling it,” said the teacher.

“They were both very kind and gentle and genuine. It was very special – definitely a moment I will always treasure.”

The Princess of Wales was seen for the firs time last Friday following the queen’s death picking up her children from school.

She stayed behind in Berkshire with kids George, Charlotte and Louis while William rushed to be by his grandmother’s side in Scotland after doctors said they were “concerned” for her health on Thursday.
