KATE Middleton and Prince William have sent Meghan and Harry a gift to congratulate them on their new baby, it has been reported.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said they were “delighted” with the arrival of Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, following her birth on Friday.

A source told US Weekly the Cambridges were “informed about the birth and have sent Lilibet a gift.”
And Wills and Kate wrote on Twitter: “We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili.
“Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie.”
It is unclear what the gift was – however it could be a sign the relationship between the couples is beginning to thaw after reports of a rift between the Cambridges and Sussexes.
This year, Meghan Markle claimed the Duchess of Cambridge had made her cry during preparations for her wedding to Harry in 2018.
It follows mounted tensions between the Royals, sparked by Harry and Meghan’s decision to step back from the Royal family and their tell-all interview with Oprah back in March.
Harry also said Wills and dad Charles are “trapped” in the Royal institution, but that he loved his brother “to bits” and hoped time “heals all things”.
Three months on, Meghan and Harry’s decided to name their daughter Lilibet in a touching nod to her great-grandmother the Queen, who was affectionately called the nickname by her family.
The couple also honoured Harry’s “beloved” late mother Princess Diana with the baby’s middle name.
Some have suggested the name will act as an “olive branch” from them to the Royal family.
Royal expert, Duncan Larcombe said: “By choosing the childhood name of the Queen, Harry and Meghan have given their daughter the most royal of names.
“To many, such a specific nod to Her Majesty will be seen as the first major olive branch offered by the Sussexes since Megxit.
“A sign perhaps Harry and Meghan are eager to build bridges.”
Larcombe added: “The question really is are there and bridges left to build?
The damage is done, and it’s sadly going to take a lot more from the Sussexes before any healing of the feud can begin.”
The Royal Family was said to be delighted by the new arrival, with a statement from the palace reading: “The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the matter.
