Kate Middleton gives rare glimpse inside her everyday bag & it’s surprisingly normal

AT first glance, Prince William and Kate Middleton could have passed for everyday commuters as they walked up the platform at Glasgow Central Station earlier this week.

Ahead of the COP26 climate change conference, the Duchess of Cambridge cut a casual figure in black skinny jeans, a green quilted gilet and grey jumper.

The Duchess was pictured carrying a £645 Smythson tote bag as she arrived in Glasgow this week

In a photo posted on Network Rail’s Twitter account, the mum-of-three was pictured carrying a £645 Smythson tote bag.

And if you look really closely, you can make out what Kate takes with her while on-duty.

The most obviously visible thing in the black leather bag is a silver folder – suggesting the Duchess was getting some work done on the five-hour journey.

Alongside this, Kate also packed her laptop for her few days in Glasgow.

According to royal author Marcia Moody, who penned Kate: A Biography, the Duchess always carries four more essential items in her daily handbags too.

The first is a compact mirror, reports Mamamia – presumably for checking her make-up is on point.

Kate also carries a trusty lip balm as well as a sheet of blotting paper – usually used to remove excess oil or sweat from the face.

What’s more, the Duchess always has a handkerchief to hand should she need it.

The expert also claims the keen photographer is often known to keep a camera in her bigger bags in case she wants to capture some candid snaps.

In more Royal Family news, Kate Middleton got Prince William through his uni degree when he missed lectures with an adorably kind act.

And Prince Harry had poster of Halle Berry on his wall at school while Wills preferred blondes, says author.

Plus this is the Queen’s incredibly touching nod to Prince Philip in COP26 speech.
