But eagle-eyed royal fans noticed that the Duchess of Cambridge had made a small spelling mistake in her note – but can you spot it?

Kate, 38, was in charge of penning the message, and unfortunately she missed out a letter in one of the words.

The royal mum-of-three wrote: “Thank you to all transport workers everywhere for keeping the coutry [sic] moving throughout this difficult year.

“Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! Catherine, William.”

After sharing a snap of the couple’s message on the couple’s official Instagram account, fans were quick to point out the missing ‘N’.

Commenting one wrote: “Lovely gesture by them both. Missed out the N in country though! Still, very sweet and thoughtful to all these workers. Merry Christmas to you all”

Meanwhile others were surprised to discover that Prince William was left handed as he left his signature on the board.

One wrote: “Never knew William was a leftie!”

“Poor prince William having to write on a white board! All lefties know the pain!” joked another.



The couple are currently on a three-day ‘thank you’ tour of the UK

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will travel 1,250 miles on the Royal Train in a three-day tour to thank people for their efforts during the Covid pandemic.

The couple will be using the royal train, reserved for the Queen and other senior members of the royal family, to travel during the tour.

Aides say they plan to pass on the nation’s “sincere thanks and gratitude” for their efforts.

Kensington Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess are very much looking forward to shining a spotlight on the incredible work that has been done.”
