Kate Middleton’s green Dolce & Gabbana dress turned heads at Wimbledon when she arrived with Meghan Markle in 2019

One of her most memorable looks was when she accompanied sister-in-law Meghan Markle to the famous sporting event in 2019.

Sitting in the royal box with Pippa and Meghan, Kate stunned in a green Dolce & Gabbana dress with puff-sleeves.

The visit was iconic, not just for Kate’s outfit, but because it was one of the only solo outings the two women made together, before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex relocated to the US.

The sister-in-law had previously attended in 2018, and Kate opted for a pretty polka dots midi dress by Jenny Packham.

At the 2019 men’s final, Kate shone in a custom blue midi dress by Emilia Wickstead with a purple bow and looked every inch a duchess.

Earlier on in the week, the duchess was the picture of perfection in a Suzannah monochrome shirt dress, which she accessorised with a custom Alexander McQueen bag and Gianvito Rossi block heels.

One of Kate’s stand-out Wimbledon looks was her yellow Dolce & Gabbana dress that she wore for the 2018 men’s singles final.

She attended with Prince William and finished off the look with a neutral handbag from the designer.

Meanwhile, back in 2016 Kate dazzled in a patterned Alexander McQueen gown, which was decorated with butterflies and skulls.

It’s hard to pick which look is our favourite.

Kate is an avid tennis fan, having arranged for Prince George to have lessons with ace Roger Federer and being the royal patron of Wimbledon.

According to Australian former world number one Rod Laver – who has sat with the couple in the Royal Box at Wimbledon – the royal couple frequently go head-to-head on court.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, the ex-tennis ace said: “I’d met William and Kate a few times, and in the Royal Box you get a chance to chat with them a little bit.

“They play tennis against each other. William told me he couldn’t beat her.”

Kate and William are famously competitive at sport.
