SHE may have the world’s top designers desperate to dress her – but just like the rest of us, Kate Middleton can’t resist a high street bargain.
When she’s not attending red carpet events and galas, the Duchess of Cambridge often turns to purse-friendly brands such as Boden, Zara and M&S for more casual additions to her royal wardrobe.

Here Fabulous takes a look at the mum-of-three’s high street staples – and luckily for us, some of them are still in stock (for now).
Boden Blouse
To mark International Women’s Day on 8 March, Kate chatted with Jasmine Harrison, 21, who became the youngest woman to row 3,000 miles solo across the ocean in February.
Appearing over Zoom from her living room in Kensington Palace, the Duchess wore a pink printed £80 pussy bow blouse from Boden.
- Dora Tie Neck Blouse, £56 from Boden – buy now
Better still, it’s been reduced to £56 in the sale too.
Alternatively, the statement blouse is also available in two other eye-catching prints – but needless to say, they’re flying off the shelves.
Missoma Earrings
- Mini Pyramid Charm Hoop Earrings, £85 from Missoma – buy now
What’s more, Kate paired her Boden blouse with some of her favourite high street earrings.
The handcrafted hoop earrings are from Missoma – one of Meghan Markle‘s favourite brands – and are a bargain at £85 in comparison to some of Kate’s royal jewels.
The rhodochrosite gemstones hang from a dainty gold hoop complete with a studded pyramid design and are also available in green and white.
And this wasn’t the first time the Duchess has worn the pretty pink earrings this year.
For Children’s Mental Health Week in February, Kate wore the neutral earrings with a blue plaid jacket as she participated in a Zoom call with teachers.
M&S Trainers
Kate Middleton sent fashion fans wild last year when she stepped out in a pair of bargain M&S trainers as she raced Olympian Jessica Ennis-Hill for SportsAid.
Needless to say, the Duchess green-striped trainers – which expertly offset her emerald outfit – sold out within minutes.
But M&S has brought them back for 2021 with a new twist.
This time round, the brand has brought out the shoes in navy – with silver sparkly and zebra print stripes.
According to the product description, the trainers have been made with podiatrist-approved Insolia Flex technology which makes them extra supportive and comfy.
- Lace Up Ribbon Detail Trainer, £29.50 from M&S – buy now
ZARA blazer
For their St Patrick’s Day message, there was only one colour Kate Middleton and Prince William were going to wear.
Appearing on their Instagram stories, the Duchess wore a vivid green plaid blazer as she wished their 12.8m followers a happy St Patrick’s Day.
- Green Textured Double-Breasted Blazer, £59.99 from ZARA – buy now
Letting her apple green blazer do all the talking, Kate kept her jewellery to a minimum – only wearing a dainty gold shamrock necklace – and had her hair sleek and straight.
Complete with two pockets on either side, Kate’s jacket has four shiny gold buttons too.
And the best part is, it’s a total steal at £59.99.
