KING Charles may ban Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from his Coronation over the Netflix drama, an expert has warned.
But royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams says that will only come after months of The Firm ignoring the “dynamite” the Sussexes are throwing at them.
King Charles may ban Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from his Coronation, a royal expert claims
But, not before the Royal Family take their ‘business as usual’ approach
Then the family may “cut all ties” with Harry and Meghan, Richard says.
The expert was speaking after it was today revealed the King, Queen Consort and Prince and Princess of Wales will attend a carol service on the same day the Netflix documentary is released.
The Royal Family will gather seemingly unphased for the Christmas Service at Westminster Abbey on Thursday December 15 – the day the second half of the explosive docuseries hits screens.
King Charles is also making a public appearance today, just 24 hours after the second documentary trailer was released, in Luton.
He is expected to meet and greet the town’s leaders, as well as local groups and members of the public.
Speaking exclusively to The Celeb Report Online, Richard said: “It’s business as usual – it’s what they always do.”
But the expert warned The Firm won’t do that forever.
He said should Harry and Meghan continue attacking the family – as the documentary trailers are teasing – they will be “cut”.
Richard said: “There is absolutely no doubt now that the Sussexes are claiming there was a war against them.
“We’ve got clear dynamite in there – it would be impossible to take that out of context.
“We haven’t seen it, but it’s so obvious.
“Christmas is bookended by what’s probably attacks – it’s grim.”
‘CLEAN CUT’
Richard continued: “The question is, what can the royals do about it?
“Harry will always remain a prince.
“The only thing they can do is not invite them to the Coronation, and cut all ties – a clean cut from the Sussexes.
“Essentially, that’s all they can do.”
Meanwhile, Richard said “business as usual” is a normal approach for the royals.
He explained the same happened when Wills and Kate were in the US last week.
Richard said: “Two of the three days were overshadowed by the race row, and documentary.”
But, the Prince and Princess of Wales continued their meet and greets – with smiles ear to ear.
When Lady Susan Hussey resigned after asking a black woman “where are you really from,” both Buckingham and Kensington Palaces released statements.
‘INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS’
But, Richard said statements are only put out in “extreme” cases.
He said he doubted the family would release any following the explosive documentary – despite them probably having points to argue.
He said: “It isn’t in the interests of the Royal Family, unless in the most extreme circumstances, to comment.
“It would be an international circus.
“It is a no-win situation for the Royal Family.”
The Sussexes are already being accused of using misleading content in their Netflix trailers – and “weakening” their documentary – by Brits.
In both the promos, there are clips of paparazzi swarming – apparently around the Sussexes.
On Sunday, The Celeb Report exclusively revealed that one of the photos included in the first trailer – of them apparently being hounded by the press – was from a Harry Potter premiere years before they met.
A royal expert then accused the couple of carelessness after using another misleading photo – this one from 1938 – in the same clip.
And yesterday’s trailer included snippets of cameras surrounding Katie Price and Donald Trump’s former lawyer, according to a photographer.
Harry referred to the tragic death of his mother more than once in the latest trailer
The couple made a number of other ‘attacks’ on The Firm – including Meghan saying: ‘They’re never gonna protect you’
