Lizzie was feeling patriotic this weekend

The 54-year-old commentator had been having plenty of fun celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, singing Land of Hope and Glory with comedian Su Pollard.

The rousing anthem was interrupted by a man in a Meghan mask, prompting Lizzie to go rogue.

She went on to claim Meghan stole her nickname, Lilibet, for her second child.

In a final act of defiance, Lizzie tore up the Meghan mask while saying: “No, no, not a royal! Not a royal anymore.”

Chaos ensued, with James questioning what was happening before demanding the duo leave the studio.

He bellowed: “Out, both of you out.”

Apologising directly to the Queen for the fracas, he said: “I’m so sorry and embarrassed, Your Majesty.

“I will not allow them back on again, this is Talk Television and the James Whale show.”
