Lorraine Kelly tells Rita Ora and Kay Burley they can ‘f**k themselves’ after breaking lockdown rules

MILD-MANNERED Lorraine Kelly turned the air blue last night as she raged at coronavirus rule breakers Rita Ora and Kay Burley.

The TV presenter stepped in to host The Last Leg last night and gave an expletive-laden version of the Queen’s Christmas message.

Lorraine told celebrities who have COVID-19 lockdown to ‘go f**k themselves’

Lorraine dropped several f-bombs during her speech, telling any celebrities who had brazenly flouted the COVID-19 lockdown they could “go f**k themselves”.

Wearing a sparkly red blouse a huge tiara, Lorraine began: “Well as we come to the end of what’s been a troubled year, not so much Annus horribilis but more of an annus s**t stormas.

“With rows over Brexit, coronavirus, Dundee United losing to Livingstone 2-0 last week, we’re reminded more than ever of what’s important, friends and family, and Christmas is a time to celebrate both.”

Alex Brooker found Lorraine’s speech hilarious

Josh, Adam and Alex were shocked at Lorraine’s f-bombs

Lorraine, who was filling in for Adam Hills who is back in Australia for Christmas, added: “Whether it’s social distancing, wearing masks, shielding, or flying to the other side of the world to spend two weeks in a five star hotel with 24 hour room service, w**king yourself stupid let’s do it together.”

Sitting behind a desk with photos of the three hosts – Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdecombe and her beloved dog Angus – on the top, Lorraine finished: “So to all of us who sacrificed so much this year, I wish you a very happy Christmas and a prosperous 2021, unless of course you are a celebrity who broke the rules of lockdown, in that case you can go f**k yourself!”

Lorraine’s expletive laden rant earned her a cheer from the show’s crew but her co-presenters presenters were stunned to hear the host use such strong language.

Alex joked that the drink they were sipping was strong and the host needed a coffee

Referring to the mulled WKD the three were drinking, Alex joked: “I told you this s**t was strong!”

Clearly shocked, Josh quickly sent the show into a break so they could “give Lorraine a coffee.”

Lorraine could have been referring to singer Rita Ora who broke COVID-19 rules twice in a matter of days.

The 30-year-old singer flew by private jet to Cairo on November 21 to perform at the five-star W Hotel.

Rita broke lockdown rules to throw a party

She apologised on Instagram

Among those present was the Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, The Mail on Sunday reports.

After returning the following day she should have self-isolated for 14 days but instead, threw a birthday party on November 28 at the Casa Cruz restaurant in Notting Hill, West London.

The likes of Poppy and Cara Delevingne attended the intimate bash, as did former Towie star Vas Morgan.

In an interview with ST magazine conducted prior to her party but published afterwards, Rita insisted she was going to have a low-key celebration with her family, in line with the rules.

Rita returned from Egypt and should have been quarantining when she had her party

Lorraine hasn’t been able to see her daughter because of coronavirus rules

After her party was rumbled, Rita volunteered to pay a £10,000 fine. However, her critics felt it was a hollow gesture because of her wealth.

Rita isn’t the only celeb to flout lockdown rules, Sky presenter Kay Burley also used her birthday as an excuse to party.

The popular news reporter and nine friends partied at Century Club in Soho, London, against the rule of six.

A group then carried onto a private restaurant, Folie, before four went back to Kay’s West London home.

The 59-year-old was told to report to the news provider’s HQ in Osterley, West London, for showdown talks.

She was supposed to be fronting the channel’s coverage of the first Covid-19 vaccination in Coventry but was stood down at the eleventh hour.

Kay Burley flouted lockdown rules too

Lorraine is usually so mild-mannered the swear words shocked people

She will now be off air for the rest of the week, and has been told to take annual leave while bosses mull over her future.

It’s thought she is now unlikely to be back on air until 2021.

A Sky source said: “The Sky News bosses were absolutely furious at Kay.

“She should know better and they told her as such. They’ve told her she’s off-air for the foreseeable. It looks like it will be 2021 before she’s back.”
