LOVE Island’s second contestant has been named as Londoner Aaron Francis.
The 24-year-old is a luxury events host who has a surprise royal connection – having worked at both Princess Eugenie and Beatrice’s weddings.
He explained: “Yeah, Eugenie and Beatrice’s over the summer. I hosted and chatted. It was nice and intimate.
“Everyone’s chill. In my job you meet a lot of famous people… unless you’re Beyonce, I’m not really interested.”
Discussing why he is taking part in the series, he admitted the pandemic had made it harder for him to find love.
He said: “I’ve been single for about six or seven months and the dating world at the moment is a little bit off.
“Everyone’s wearing masks. You can’t really see anyone which makes dating a lot harder. I do prefer relationships than dating.”
Aaron is hoping to find someone who is truly passionate about what they do and isn’t a fan of those who ‘live for the weekend’.
He said: “I need someone that is passionate about what they are doing – from scientist to anything – you can tell when someone is speaking about something and they are actually smiling while they are talking. I love that.
“I don’t like when people are doing a job just to make money and then they kind of just live for the weekend. Especially because I work on the weekends.”
The hunk is the second confirmed name for the series after beauty queen and multi-lingual lawyer Sharon Gaffka.

The new Love Islanders will experience an increased “duty of care” from the show, ITV bosses announced this week.
They are hiring a new clinical psychologist, Dr Matthew Gould, in an ongoing bid to review their procedures and monitor stars.
The Islanders will get mandatory therapy sessions, extensive social media training (including how to handle trolls) and receive financial advice.
The casting team have also aimed to have more diverse contestants appear this series – with Love Island set to have its first disabled star.
