MEGHAN Markle may choose a swanky £2,800-per-night Californian maternity suite when she gives birth to her daughter, a pal has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may opt for the megabucks, A-list Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to Omid Scobie.

Omid, author of bombshell biography Finding Freedom, said on last night’s Channel 4 documentary A Very Royal Baby: From Cradle to Crown: “There is a lot of speculation about where Harry and Meghan’s daughter might be born.
“Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles has some of the finest maternity suites in the country.”
If the couple opted to have their second child here, they would be following in famous footsteps, as it has been used by the likes of Kim Kardashian and Victoria Beckham.
Kim and Kanye’s daughter North West was born there in 2013, Harper Beckham in 2011, and Beyonce’s twins, Rumi and Sir, in 2017.
Birthing suites at the £2,800-per-night Cedars-Sinai could easily be mistaken for a five-star hotel, and come with three-bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms.
New mums can watch flatscreen TVs and access to salon services such as haircuts, manicures and pedicures.
Meghan would have 24/7 access to a personal doula, who can offer “physical, emotional and educational support”.
Mums also get welcome packs that include a miniature bottle of wine and nappies, and gourmet cuisine is served during stays.
Journalist Celia Walden wrote in the Telegraph about being able to “gaze at the Hollywood sign”’ while giving birth to a daughter there in 2011.
Celia claimed that an anesthesiologist said to her about her natural birthing plan: “Honey, in LA a natural birth means giving birth without your make-up on.”
Perfect for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, there is also a secret entrance available for arrival and departures.
This is no surprise given the high-profile of Cedar-Sinai’s previous famous clients, who have included Salma Hayek, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kourtney Kardashian, Jessica Simpson and Anna Faris.
Meghan and Harry revealed they were expecting their second child on Valentine’s Day this year, and confirmed during their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview they are expecting a girl.
Their daughter will be granted American citizenship under the Fourteenth Amendment if she is born on American soil.
She will become eighth in line to the throne, after Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Prince Harry and Archie.
Meghan previously gave birth to Archie, now two, at London’s Portland Hospital in 2019.
The American-run Portland Hospital is known for its A-list patients, including Liz Hurley, Jools Oliver and the Duchess of York, with some VIP mums spending hundreds of thousands of pounds having their babies.
The Portland offers five-star hotel service for new mums, with 36 private rooms as well as a nursery.
The pricier suites cost £1,800 per night and feature a separate lounge area and en-suite.
It’s also reported the exclusive hospital has a selection of rooms reserved for royalty and other VIPs that cost upwards of £2,000.
Then there’s the 24-hour room service, luxurious Molton Brown toiletries and suites for family and visitors.
While the cheapest “birthing package” costs around £15,000, it’s reported that some mums spend an eye-watering £500,000 – depending on the number of nights they stay and other services they require.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton opted for the £7,500-a-night Lindo Wing ward for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
