Meghan Markle & Prince Harry have ‘deprived’ kids Archie & Lilibet by not letting them meet Queen, Thomas claims

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have “deprived” their kids Archie & Lilibet by not letting them meet the Queen, Meghan’s dad has claimed.

Thomas Markle accused the couple of being “terribly unfair” to their children by keeping them away from relatives, including himself and Granddad Prince Charles too.

Thomas Markle says Meghan and Harry are depriving their kids because they haven’t met all their relatives yet

Thomas, who is estranged from daughter Meghan and has frequently bad-mouthed the duchess in the media, said he is yet to meet Archie, two, and three-month-old Lilibet.

Speaking from his home in Mexico, he added that the only family member who sees the kids regularly was Meghan’s mum, his ex-wife, Doria Ragland.

He told Channel 7’s Sunrise: “I think they (Archie and Lilibet) are being deprived of seeing all their grandparents and I think they are being deprived of seeing all their relatives and I think that’s terribly unfair to them.”

Asked if he would consider legal action to see his grandkids, he said: “I’ve had offers from several lawyers – pro-bono – because we do have the right to sue to see our grandchildren.

“But to me that’s like trying to descend into a game and using them like pawns and I won’t sue to see them because I just think that’s using them and it’s not what I plan to do.”

He added: “They shouldn’t be used, they are just babies. So no, I will wait.

“I will wait patiently until they are ready to bring them to me.  But as long as my daughter has the attitude she doesn’t want me to see them, that’s the way it’s going to be.”

He later urged Meghan and Harry, who stepped down from Royal life last year, to go back to Britain and the Royal Family.

“I would like them, all four of them, to go back to England and fulfil their duties. It’s better for the children and it’s better for them,” Thomas said.

“By not taking back they are cheating their children. They also get much better protection in England than in Montecito.

“I would like to see them maybe make up with the Queen and make up with his (Harry’s) father, and then we can make up.”

His comments were made as part of a 15-minute long interview with the Channel 7 breakfast show.

It comes after Thomas, who wishes to be closer to Meghan, sent his daughter flowers on her birthday and wished her a “bright future”.

But he has also repeatedly slammed her in the press, calling their interview with Oprah Winfrey in March an “embarrassing” attack on the Queen.

He also branded his daughter “a liar” in an interview last month and said she has changed since meeting Prince Harry.

Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan could introduce their daughter Lilibet to the Queen soon, after making “olive branch” calls home ahead of her christening.
