MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have dealt with the four biggest issues ahead of the 12-month Megxit review, a source has revealed.
They claimed the pair have already settled the most pressing concerns about their life away from the royal family.
When Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals last year, it was on the condition that the prince would meet with the Queen at a later date to discuss how the arrangement was working.
That was due to be on March 31 this year, but as a terrifying mutant Covid strain ravages the UK a ban on non-essential travel has been imposed.
However a source told Newsweek: “The 12-month review was mostly a period of time when the transition could take place.
“The biggest things that were part of it were around financial independence, household support and staff, security and housing – all of which have been dealt with.”
The Celeb Report revealed the Prince was in line for a ticking off from his grandma on his return to the UK.
A source said: “There are all sorts of issues to speak about — not only his political statements but also his visa situation in the US.”
One area not thought to have been dealt with yet is their patronages, but the source added they are a “matter for the trustees of those charities/organisations”.
They added: “They are continuing to work very closely with all their patronages.
“Some are the gift of Her Majesty the Queen, which we ultimately don’t have decision making power over.”
CRUNCH TALKS
The Celeb Report Online has gone to Buckingham Palace and the Duke and Duchess’ representatives for comment.
Prince Harry especially is keen to keep up with his military patronages – some of which could be at risk.
And while they have stepped down as senior working royals and are now making their own money, the pair are still expected to uphold the values of Her Majesty.
But senior advisors are reportedly concerned over the speed at which they have been signing megabucks deals with the likes of Netflix, Spotify and the Harry Walker Agency.
Eyebrows were also raised after Oprah Winfrey advertised a vegan coffee brand on her Instagram page that Meghan had invested in.
If the pair are able to travel to the UK they royal family could now be reunited at a number of events in 2021, including the Queen’s 95th birthday, Prince Philip’s 100th and the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue.
“I think it’s going to be very awkward if they do meet up,” Phil Dampier, author of Royally Suited: Harry and Meghan In Their Own Words, told The Celeb Report Online.
“From what I am told the rift is not a lot better at the moment – they are not talking a lot.
“I think they will put on a united front for the unveiling of Diana’s statue and I’m sure they will put on a united front for the birthday celebrations but behind the scenes I think there’s going to be a lot of tension.”
