Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are more in demand than ever after signing a £30million deal with Spotify

Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, confirmed the first episode from their Archewell Audio podcast would be festive themed when they announced the new venture on Tuesday.

Insiders said the pair were now being lined up for the possibility of ticketed events – which would be charged at a premium.

An insider said: “Live agents have been eyeing up Meghan and Harry’s new deal with great interest.

“They have been inundated with offers about the possibility of touring the podcast when the time is right.

“The idea would be that the events would be very intimate, with tickets going for a premium.

“All the cash would go to charity at the beginning. Meghan and Harry would record then in front of a small audience.

“Spotify, who their podcast deal is with, have been investing heavily in the live space in the market and want to start taking podcasts out on the road.

“Meghan and Harry’s is not just hugely high profile but potentially hugely lucrative.”

The couple, who officially stepped back from their roles as senior royals in January, are no strangers to the world of podcasts – appearing here on The Teenager Therapy podcast in October in honour of World Mental Health Day

Their deal with Spotify comes just months after The Celeb Report exclusively revealed the pair had signed a £100m contract with Netflix.

Explaining their podcast in a three-minute scripted trailer, Meghan said: “One of the things my husband and I have always talked about is our passion for meeting people and hearing their stories.

“And no matter what the story they usually offer an understanding of where someone else is coming from and, in some way, remind you of a story about yourself.”

The couple, here with their son Archie, relocated from Frogmore Cottage in London to Los Angeles

Following on from his wife, Harry added: “And that is what this story is all about.

“To bring forward different perspectives and voices that perhaps you haven’t heard before and find our common ground.

“Because when that happens change really is possible.”

When Harry and Meghan quit the Royal Family in January, the couple announced their plans to become “financially independent” while still “continuing to uphold the values of Her Majesty.”

Since the Spotify announcement Harry and Meghan have come under fire from their critics and have been accused of being “greedy”.
