Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie is already learning to count and ‘keeps saying two’ after second birthday

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry’s son is already learning how to count and “keeps saying two”, according to royal sources.

It comes after little Archie celebrated his second birthday earlier this week, with video calls to the Queen, Prince William and Kate.

Archie can already count and keeps saying two after he celebrated his second birthday

Meghan and Harry shared a new snap of the birthday boy

Meanwhile the Duke and Duchess of Sussez- who shared a new picture of Archie with balloons to mark the day – asked well wisher to $5 donations to aid global distribution of Covid vaccinations around the world.

They urged their fans to give money to GAVI, which aims to increase access to immunisation in poor countries.

Meghan and Harry said a $5 donation would be matched by organisations to become $20 – which would pay for four vaccines.

Now a royal source said the reason for the donation drive is to teach young Archie how to be charitable.

They told US Weekly: “They want Archie to grow up understanding the importance of giving back.

Archie has only been seen rarely during the past 12 months

“Harry and Meghan feel so blessed to have such an articulate and caring child. Archie is learning to count already and keeps saying, ‘Two!’”

They added: “While Harry and Meghan are raising Archie to be grounded, they go the extra mile on his birthday.

“They made [his] card themselves and wrote a sweet poem inside, splashed out on gifts — including outdoor toys — and have bought him the cutest birthday outfit!”

It comes after the Duchess of Sussex revealed her husband’s special bond with their son was the inspiration behind her first children’s publication, The Bench.

The little boy has only been seen rarely during the past 12 months, but did feature in a black and white video clip released in March, showing him walking along a beach watched by his parents and the family’s pet dog, Guy.

He also made a surprise appearance in the Sussexes’ first podcast for Spotify in December, with his American accent slipping out.

At Christmas, the Sussexes’ festive card was decorated with a picture of Archie and his parents sitting in front of a Wendy house, thought to be at their Californian home, with the couple’s pet dogs.

And for his first birthday Harry and Meghan released a video of their boisterous son playing up for the camera as his mother read him the popular children’s tale Duck! Rabbit!
