And she added that she wants to “stop whispering and tiptoeing around” through fear of being misconceived in life.
She told her Archetypes podcast on Spotify: “You’re allowed to set a boundary, you’re allowed to be clear.
“That does not make you demanding, it does not make you difficult – it makes you clear.”
The California-based mum-of-two went on to set the record straight, warning that being “particular” and having certain mannerisms should also not be misconceived as being “difficult”.
She told actress Issa Rae and talk show host Ziwe Fumudoh: “I also know that I will find myself towering and tiptoeing into a room.
“I don’t know if you ever do that… the thing I find the most embarrassing when you say a sentence but the intonation goes up like it’s a question.
“How you’re conceived misconceived or portrayed?
“Yeah, you’re particular you can receive it that way, but if he describes you that way to someone else… Yeah. What is that?”
The “Duchess Difficult” label stretches back to 2018 following rumours about her “dictatorial” behaviour and 5am emails – which led to an aide quitting.
Samantha Cohen, nicknamed “Samantha the Panther” for her feisty attitude, left her role after the birth of Harry and Meghan’s son Archie in 2019.
The moniker was first reported in the Daily Express.

Continuing her response to the label on Tuesday’s episode, titled ‘Upending the “Angry Black Woman” Myth, Meghan added: “I think a high tide raises all ships right.
“We’re all going to succeed so let’s make sure it’s really great because of shared success for everybody.”
