MEGHAN Markle has been blasted after apparently suggesting the British press called her children the n-word.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared to make the “unsubstantiated” claim in a toe-curling interview discussing her life with Harry and their kids beyond the Royal Family.

Meghan told The Cut’s Allison Davis she resented allowing pictures of Archie, three, and Lilibet, one, to be circulated to the media.
The article then goes on to imply her reasoning is down to racist language – appearing to suggest the press had used the n-word to refer to her children.
Meghan explained: “There’s literally a structure by which if you want to release photos of your child, as a member of the family, you first have to give them to the Royal Rota.
“Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the n-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child?”
It’s unclear who Meghan was referring to when she said “people”.
Royal experts were quick to question Meghan’s inference, with Royal Editor Ingrid Seward saying: “She appears to make an unsubstantiated claim that the British press used the n-word to describe her children.
“An interviewer worth her salt would have fact checked that and it is something which never happened.”
It is unclear whether Meghan had meant to direct the allegation at the press or to members of the public in general.
The duchess is a vocal campaigner in the fight against racism and was awarded the NAACP President’s Award for public service earlier this year.
But speaking of her interview yesterday, Ingrid Seward said Meghan is “economical with the truth when it suits her,” adding the facts should be backed up.
She said: “It appears to me that neither of them [Harry and Meghan] are prepared to accept the blame for anything.”
Meghan has spoken out about her own experiences with racism in the past and claimed a member of the Firm made a comment about Archie’s skin colour before he was born – and “what that would mean or look like” for the royals.
During her interview with The Cut, she recalled one moment when she attended The Lion King in London’s West End in 2019, and a cast member from South Africa told her they had celebrated when she tied the knot with Prince Harry.
She revealed: “He said, ‘I just need you to know: When you married into this family, we rejoiced in the streets the same we did when Mandela was freed from prison.’ ”
During the bombshell chat she also claimed Harry told her “I lost my dad” during their bitter Megxit split from the Royal Family.
And she further suggested it was 37-year-old Harry’s decision to stay apart from his father.
Referring to her relationship with her estranged father Thomas Markle and the furore over Megxit, Meghan said: “Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in this process.’
