MEGHAN Markle made a cryptic dig at the Royals as she accused them of treating her differently in a new explosive interview.
The Duchess Of Sussex, 41, claims she was told exactly what to say and do while on engagements with Prince Harry.
Meghan Markle has taken aim at the royals with a cryptic dig
But she said it would have been “really helpful” if an older royal had guided her like they do in the movies when an American marries a prince.
Meghan told magazine The Cut: “I was an actress. My entire job was ‘Tell me where to stand. Tell me what to say. Tell me how to say it. Tell me what to wear, and I’ll do it.’
“And I’ll show up early, and I’ll probably bake something for the crew.”
The former Suits star also lashed out at the royals for not granting her and Harry the “arrangement” they wanted even though they were not asking to “reinvent the wheel”.
But she claimed others who were allowed to carry out their duty on their terms.
Meghan said: “That, for whatever reason, is not something that we were allowed to do, even though several other members of the family do that exact thing.”
When asked why by the journalist, she responded: “Why do you think that is?”
Meghan also revealed the couple were willing to travel to any Commonwealth country to escape the family.
She said: “Anything to just … because just by existing, we were upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy.
“So we go, ‘Okay, fine, let’s get out of here. Happy to,’ ”
The bombshell new interview also features a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Meghan and Harry’s family life with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
It reveals how the couple run their Archewell company sitting side-by-side in a shared office in their £11million Montecito home.
Harry tells the magazine: “Most people that I know and many of my family, they aren’t able to work and live together.
“It’s actually really weird because it’d seem like a lot of pressure. But it just feels natural and normal.”
The fresh attack on the royals comes as Harry and Meghan prepare to fly back to the UK next month.
They are attending a youth summit in Manchester and the WellChild Awards for seriously ill children.
But it is believed the couple will not use one their two spare days to visit the Queen at home in Balmoral over Harry’s security row.
He does not receive the same security as other family members unless taking part in official Royal engagements.
Harry has offered to pay for Met protection but the Home Office said London’s cops are not “guns for hire”.
