Meghan Markle may have been intentionally left out of Prince Harry's recent interview on Good Morning America due to concerns over her trustworthiness, according to a royal expert.
The Duke of Sussex appeared on the show this morning, but surprisingly, there was no mention of his wife.
Harry and Meghan are currently in Vancouver to mark the countdown to the Invictus Games 2025.
Did Meghan's PR company have a role to play?
Royal expert Angela Levin suggests that Meghan's new PR company may have played a part in her absence from the interview.
Levin explains, "It's interesting. It's just about Harry, but I think it was her giving in that this is Harry's Invictus Games.
"But actually she was always there, having her picture taken and looking very glamorous, and that's what she cares about.
"I suspect that her PRs didn't want her to say anything that might change this vision of herself."
Harry opens up about family and hopes for reconciliation
During the interview, Harry discussed his father's recent cancer diagnosis and expressed hope that it would help heal the rift within the family. He also provided rare insights into the personalities of his children, Archie and Lilibet.
Despite the show's promise of an interview on "his life with Meghan," she was conspicuously absent from the conversation.
A look at Meghan's PR connections
Last year, Meghan joined the PR company WME, which represents high-profile celebrities such as Eddie Murphy, Gwen Stefani, and Liam Payne.
It remains unclear whether Meghan's PR team had any influence on her exclusion from the interview.
The couple's resilience in the face of challenges
A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan responded to ongoing speculation about their future, stating, "We've heard time and time again that certain opportunities are make or break for the couple.
"They're still here. They're still working and pursuing what they believe in, despite constantly being challenged and criticized.
"This couple will not be broken."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Canada earlier this week to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games in 2025. They have been photographed at various locations, including the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort in British Columbia.
It remains to be seen whether Meghan will make any future appearances alongside Harry as they navigate their new roles outside of the royal family.
