MEGHAN Markle will return to the UK next year for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, her pal has confirmed.
But the Duchess of Sussex has no intention of flying back in late June for the unveiling of a statue dedicated to Princess Diana, Omid Scobie says.

Instead, she’ll remain at home in LA with newborn daughter Lilibet Diana, while Harry flies back.
And it’s claimed he could bring son Archie with him for his visit.
However, when Lili is a little older, Meghan plans to head for the UK to mark 70 years of the Queen’s reign in 2022.
It’s the first time any British monarch has reached the historic milestone, and a string of spectacular events are planned to mark the occasion – including a brand new bank holiday.
Scobie – the preferred reporter of the Sussexes, who co-wrote their biography Finding Freedom – said the Duchess plans to celebrate with the monarch next year.

It was yesterday confirmed that Meghan is unlikely to return to Britain in 2021.
She gave birth to little Lilibet earlier this month.
There had been reports in the US that she was considering flying over for a whirlwind visit to support Harry at a deeply emotional time for the Duke.
One American website quoted a source saying Harry’s relationship with his family has only worsened since the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.
“[Meghan] doesn’t want that to happen again,” the source said.
However, sources in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s office have confirmed for the first time that she will remain at home.
Harry will stay at Frogmore Cottage, his home in Windsor, for the visit.
It’ll be the first time he’s come face-to-face with his loved ones in the UK since making a series of bombshell claims in a new string of interviews.
In one, he spoke of his “nightmare” life as a senior royal – and said he was shown “total neglect” when it came to his mental health.
Charles came in for a particular roasting, with Harry claiming his dad made him “suffer” from passed-on “genetic pain”.
The Duke’s comments are understood to have caused a great deal of distress in the Royal Family, with the Prince of Wales said to be “deeply hurt”.
And just weeks after the interview aired, Harry and Meghan became embroiled in another scrap with the palace over the naming of their daughter.
The BBC alleged the Queen hadn’t been informed that the couple had chosen her childhood nickname ‘Lilibet’ for the little one – leading to Meghan and Harry threatening to drag the corporation to court.
And the monarch is understood to have said she’ll no longer remain silent when the couple allow “mistruths” to circulate.
She has told courtiers to correct statements which misrepresent private conversations by her or other senior royals, it’s claimed.
