MEGHAN Markle’s best friend Jessica Mulroney has said she ‘laughed so hard it hurt’ while on a video call with a friend.
The fashion stylist, 40, posted the message on her Instagram stories yesterday, and it has left people wondering whether she was speaking to Meghan.
Jessica, who lives in Toronto, spoke of a hilarious chat she recently had with a pal, saying “My girlfriend and I just laughed so hard it actually hurts. God bless FaceTime.”
This comes just weeks after it was revealed Meghan is “constantly” checking up on Jessica from her Santa Barbara home.
Mulroney also revealed the pair regularly use FaceTime to keep in touch with each other.
Last summer, when the Black Lives Matter movement was at its peak following the unlawful killing of George Floyd, influencer Sasha Exeter accused the mum-of-three of abusing her “wealth and privilege”.
According to a source used by Page Six, Jessica suffered “severe depression and suicidal thoughts”, after the incident, which saw her lose her job on ABC show Good Morning America.
The Duchess is said to have been “mortified” by the incident, but addressing rumours that the two of them had fallen out Jessica wrote on her Instagram stories, “I’m going to tell this once and for all. Meghan and I are family.”
“She is the kindest friend and has checked up on me every day,” she added.
Jessica and Meghan are believed to have met in 2011, when the Duchess of Sussex moved from LA to Toronto in order to film Suits.
It’s said that the pair bonded over a shared love of yoga, and even went on holiday together in Italy in 2016.
