Meghan Markle’s gives first update on ‘beautiful’ daughter, Lilibet during visit to New York

During their rounds of public engagements, Meghan gave her first update on their daughter Lilibet, describing her as ‘beautiful’.

Harry and Meghan have made their trip to the Big Apple alone and are believed to have left their youngest child Lilibet and firstborn, Archie, at home in California.

Yesterday, they made numerous appearances around the City and met with political figures, including the mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio and the US ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

Since Meghan Markle gave birth to Lilibet in July, the couple have released few details or updates about the youngster.

But as the couple walked around their engagements a journalist from Inside Edition called out to ask the mum-of-two; “Meghan, how’s Lilibet?”

Meghan simply replied: “She’s beautiful.”

Another journalist also asked: “How’s Archie?”, to which Meghan gave a big thumbs up.

The couples tour of New York continued today as Meghan visited P.S. 123 Mahalia Jackson school on day two of their three-day tour of New York City.

Harry also came to support his wife in her book reading, where Meghan read her own picture book The Bench.

Meghan was seen embracing one of the kids as they showed the royal couple a brightly coloured mural they had created in the playground of the school.

As Harry exited his car to the event today, people spotted a peculiar looking water bottle in the car door.

The cardboard water bottle comes from Flow, a premium alkaline spring water company, which has been featured by the likes of Goop, Vogue and Forbes.

The brand promotes sustainability and uses packaging which is made from 100% recyclable materials and has an alchaline PH level.

A pack of 12 500ml bottles of Flow alchaline water would set you back £17.55 ($23.99).

The couple are next expected to appear live from Central Park for a Global Citizen Live event to promote the Covid vaccine on Saturday.

It is part of a number of shows being hosted in cities ascross the world like New York and London, by the organisation Global Citizen, with artists like Ed Sheeran, Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Metallica and Coldplay scheduled to perform.
