Meghan and Harry believe they’ve been ‘unlucky’ in business, sources claim

Last week Meghan’s Archetypes podcast was dumped by Spotify after running for only one series – and the U.S. Patent Office denied their request to trademark its name.

Meanwhile, the couple were told to come up with more must-watch shows for Netflix if they want to be paid £40million in outstanding fees, it is claimed.

But sources are now claiming that Meghan is getting ready for her comeback.

It’s thought she is gearing up for a “string of commercial endorsements in fields meaningful to her, such as food, wellness, fashion and therapy”, reports MailOnline.

They claim she will write a book “most likely with a feminist angle”.

In 2021 Meghan and Harry signed a lucrative deal – worth up to a potential £29million – with publishers Penguin Random House involving four books.

It comes after Meghan signed with a new top Hollywood talent agency back in April.

The Duchess joined WME, which boasts A-Listers Eddie Murphy, Gwen Stefani and Liam Payne on their books.

Sources claim Meghan and Harry “think they’ve been really unlucky” with their deals so far and are hoping for a change.

And it’s claimed they blame the “correction in the economics of streaming” for their downfall with Spotify and Netflix” as “both companies don’t have that kind of money to splash around anymore”.

It comes as Harry’s series Heart of Invictus about the Olympic-style games he started for wounded ex-service competitors is due to air on Netflix in August.

But Meghan’s animated series Pearl, about a girl inspired by historical female figures, was dropped.

Netflix bosses are awaiting the final series of royal drama The Crown featuring the early stages of William and Kate’s relationship.
