MIKE Tindall found himself the butt of Ant and Dec’s jokes in the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity thanks to his interesting choice of swimwear.

The rugby ace enjoyed a swim in the camp creek where he flaunted a pair of budgie smugglers.

He enjoyed a swim in the creek

Mike’s bold choice of outfit left viewers speechless and caused Ant and Dec to fire a few jokes his way.

Ant quipped: “I tell you what did come as a shock, what about that swimwear.”

Dec was quick to bring Mike’s wife Zara Tindall into the conversation as he pondered how she would have felt seeing Mike in all his glory on screen.

He joked: “I want to know what Zara was thinking of that, that’s where my bikini bottoms went.”

Many viewers did not know what to make of Mike and his daring attire as one exclaimed: “Oh not mike in a speedo i love you mike but noooo.”

Elsewhere in the episode Mike was one of two people voted by the public to compete for the chance to be camp leader.

The royal had to face off against MP Matt Hancock in order to gain the coveted title.

Mike was joined by Sue Cleaver as Matt was flanked by Charlene White.

Ultimately, Matt and Charlene were crowned winners, as the politician said: “Obviously, it’s a great honour and privilege to be camp leader. I want to thank everybody who voted for me.”

Charlene asked: “Does this win feel sweet, especially after you lost to Boris? Do you feel like you have been vindicated?”

To which Matt replied: “This more than makes up for it.
