THE Queen officially celebrated 70 years on the throne on February 6, 2022.
The occasion will be marked with a series of TV specials over the four-day bank holiday weekend in June – here is who can expect to see hosting the historical event.
Who is hosting the ITV show for The Queen?
Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield is a 60-year-old English television presenter.
He is the co-presenter of ITV’s This Morning and Dancing on Ice alongside Holly Willoughby.
Schofield shot to fame when he became the first continuity presenter for Children’s BBC, now known as CBBC, in 1985.
Julie Etchingham
Julie Anne Etchingham is a 52-year-old English journalist
She is currently a newscaster on ITV News at Ten and has been since 2008.
Etchingham presented the current affairs programme Tonight from 2010 until 2022.

Thomas Cruise is a 59-year-old American actor and producer.
He is one of the world’s highest-paid actors and has received several awards throughout his career, including three Golden Globe Awards, in addition to nominations for a British Academy Film Award and three Academy Awards.

Helen Mirren
Dame Helen Lydia Mirren DBE is a 76-year-old English actor.
She received an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen.
During the Queen’s 2003 Birthday Honours, she was appointed a Dame (DBE) for services to drama.
Damian Lewis
Damian Watcyn Lewis OBE is a 51-year-old English actor, presenter and producer.
He is best known for portraying U.S. Army Major Richard Winters in Band of Brothers, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination.
His performance as Henry VIII of England in Wolf Hall earned him his third Primetime Emmy nomination and fourth Golden Globe nomination.
Omid Djalili
Omid Djalili is a 56-year-old British actor, comedian and writer.
He performed on We Are Most Amused on ITV1 to mark Prince Charles’s 60th birthday in 2008 and on We Are Most Amused and Amazed to mark his 70th birthday in 2018.
In 2020 he began hosting the ITV game show Winning Combination.

When is the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on TV?
The Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving from St Paul’s Cathedral is the first event which airs live on Friday, June 3 on BBC One.
On Saturday, June 4, The Queen and other members of the Royal Family attend The Derby at Epsom Downs, which will be shown on ITV.
The celebrations then continue into the night as the Platinum Party at the Palace airs live on BBC One.
