PRINCE Andrew was “obsessed” with redheads and convicted paedo pal Jeffrey Epstein would trawl the streets trying to find suitable women for him when he came to town, it has been claimed.
Epstein would reportedly go around art fairs and other events asking women if they “wanted a date with Prince Andrew” before he met up with the Duke.
‘Randy Andy’, as he was notoriously known as, was alleged by a pal to have slept with more than 1,000 women, who also insisted the Duke hadn’t slept with any teenagers.
In Ian Halperin’s 2020 book Sex, Lies And Dirty Money By The World’s Powerful Elite, the author claims Epstein frequently provided Andrew with women, which was the reason for their friendship.
“He had an obsession with redheads, and Epstein would have his scouts combing the streets for the most beautiful redheads before they met,” he said.
Ian quotes a woman as saying Andrew “rocked my world in the bedroom,” adding that he was a “very daring lover” with “no limits”.
But she admitted she was disappointed that she never heard from him again after their encounter.
One glamourous ginger, the US swimwear model and actress Angie Everhart, claimed she was on a “wish list” of redheads the Duke wanted to meet.
Angie, who first met Andrew in 2003, was romanticly linked to him but was coy about the nature of their friendship in an interview with Mail Online.
The two met through her former father-in-law George Hamilton, who asked if she wanted to go for dinner with the prince while he was in Los Angeles.
She said George told her: “He likes redheads and he has a wish list of girls he’d like to meet while he’s in town – and you’re on it.”
Angie, who also dated Sly Stallone and Kevin Costner, described Andrew as “one of my favourite people in the world. I truly love him”.
One journalist who rang every number in Epstein’s ‘Little Black Book’ spoke to a woman who said she met the sex offender at an art fair in Palm Beach, Florida.
She said: “He came up to me and said, ‘Would you like a date with Prince Andrew?’.”
In 2019, a friend claimed to The Celeb Report Online that Andrew had slept with more than 1,000 women, but insisted he didn’t sleep with teenagers.
The long-term pal said: “He was known as Randy Andy for a reason when he was younger and it’s never really stopped.
“Travelling all over the world as the UK trade ambassador and for other royal duties has given him access to some beautiful women and he’s taken full advantage.
“He is a red-blooded male and, if you like, he is like a sailor with a girl in every port.”
‘Air Miles Andy’ and his playboy lifestyle were frequently a source of embarrassment for the Royal Family, including when he was pictured on a yacht in Thailand with a number of topless young women in 2001.
His boorish behaviour was notorious in diplomatic circles, such as when he allegedly shocked a pregnant woman with his “completely inappropriate” remarks.
A 2015 article from the New Zealand paper Waikato Times quoted an associate as saying: “He made some completely inappropriate comment to someone who was pregnant and had massive boobs.”
The Duke then reportedly “roared with laughter” like a schoolboy.
In 2010, Simon Wilson, a former British diplomat based in Bahrain, told the Mail Online Andrew was known in diplomatic circles as HBH: His Buffoon Highness, because of his frequent gaffes.
Stories of Andrew cavorting on yachts with topless women half his image were even more shocking when he was a father of two young children, Beatrice and Eugenie.
Despite Andrew’s playboy image, he has maintained close ties to his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, continuing to live with her in the Royal Lodge and even going on holiday together.
Speaking in 2019, his friend explained their curious arrangement, saying: “They are great friends and wonderful parents,” adding: “He’s a charmer but most of the romances fizzle out, and that’s why he’s kept the stability of being close to Sarah.
“He has the family side and the playboy side, and he’s been able to balance the two for decades.”
In Ian’s book, he alleges Andrew began to fear his powerful friend Epstein, which was why he visited him in Manhattan after his release from jail for child sex offences.
“Epstein got information on people and he’d use it against them,” he said.
He added that when the pair last met in 2011, “Andrew was on his hands and knees begging Epstein never to reveal anything about him”.
Epstein, 66, was found dead in his jail cell in 2019 after apparently taking his own life.
Last month, Ghislaine Maxwell, Andrew’s friend, and Epstein’s former partner, was convicted on five of six counts, including sex trafficking a minor.
Earlier this month, Andrew learned that a civil sex abuse case against him from accuser Virginia Giuffre will go ahead, despite his attempts to have it thrown out.
Giuffre, who claims she was trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell as a teenager, claims she had sex with Andrew three times while underage and has vowed to “destroy him”.
The Duke vehemently denies any wrongdoing.
This week, in another humiliating revelation for the Duke, it was alleged by a former royal protection officer that Andrew and Ghislaine were lovers.
While in another bizarre bombshell from the Duke’s private life, it was revealed Andrew would “shout and scream” if his teddy bear collection was messed up by maids.
