PRINCE Charles reportedly wanted to see Prince Harry but was told his son’s schedule after travelling back to the UK would not allow it.
The Duke of Sussex, 36, flew to London last week to attend his grandfather’s funeral but will soon return to the US to be with pregnant wife Meghan Markle.

The Mirror’s royal editor Russell Myers today told ITV’s Lorraine Harry has a “tight schedule” and that he “has got to get back” to be with the Duchess.
He added that Charles did want to see his son – but was unable to because Harry’s “schedule wouldn’t allow it”.
Russell said: “We were told last week there was a tight schedule, Meghan is heavily pregnant so he’s got to get back.
“She’s due in the early summer, maybe six weeks away.
“Charles did want to see him but was told the schedule wouldn’t allow it.”
It comes as:
- Harry ‘promised to “respect the institution” in letter to Charles’
- Harry’s relationship with Charles & William still ‘very, very raw’
- Queen ‘disappointed’ with Meghan and Harry Oprah interview
- Queen’s double tragedy as friend and racing advisor dies
- Charles, William and Kate hold clear-the-air talks with Harry
It comes as the relationship between Harry and his father and brother was described as being “very, very, raw”, according to a report.
The Duke of Sussex is said to have written Prince Charles a “deeply personal” note before arriving back in the UK.
However, they have not repaired their broken relationship as Harry prepares to fly back to the US, reports the Mirror.
A source said: “Harry didn’t expect everything to be completely back to normal but his feeling after seeing his family was there is a lot of ground to make up.
“There is a lot of distrust in the camp and everything is still very, very raw.”
Russell told Lorraine “tensions are running very, very high” – adding: “Charles and William are still very hurt I understand.
“A lot of allegations were thrown and it certainly wasn’t time to be settling those at the funeral.”
He said that Charles, William, Kate Middleton and Harry “got together for a couple of hours after the funeral” – adding: “But I don’t think anything was settled. It’s a long road back.”
‘TENSIONS RUNNING VERY HIGH’
Meanwhile, a report also suggests Charles and William are “totally aligned” that there is “no way back” for Prince Andrew over his links to dead paedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew, 61, was seen making a rare public appearance at his father’s funeral on Saturday – before leaving in his new £220,000 Bentley.
But it seems he is not part of the future plans for the Royal Family as Charles and William look to create tailor made roles for the seven senior members of The Firm.
Both future kings are said to be “completely focussed” on supporting the Queen as she mourns the loss of her husband, Prince Philip.
Palace sources reportedly told The Mirror both agree there is no way back for Andrew who quit royal duty 18 months ago over links to Epstein.
Russell told Lorraine there is “no place for Andrew” and both Charles and William and “completely aligned on that”.
Lorraine said: “They will have to tackle the problem of Prince Andrew – the most damaging thing that has happened in my opinion.”
