Alberto rang 911 on the night Michael Jackson died aged 50 in 2009

He tailed the retired royal and son Archie’s godfather, Charlie van Straubenzee.

More security followed in a 4×4 as Harry rode a £1,070 electric bike near his £10m home in Montecito, California.

Alberto rang 911 on the night Wacko Jacko died aged 50 in 2009.

A source said: “Alberto has worked with the biggest celebrities so knows every trick in the book of keeping them out of harm’s way.

“He is discreet and was extremely loyal to Michael.

“He and Harry seem like a good match and Harry hopes he’s the man to look after him and his family.”

Alberto’s emergency call was read out in court in which he told operators that the King of Pop was “not responding” to CPR.

After Jacko’s death from an overdose of anaesthetic, Alberto was hired by boyband One Direction.

His appointment comes after the Home Office prevented Harry from paying for police protection for his family when he visits the UK.

The row meant he did not come back for grandfather Prince Phillip’s memorial service earlier this year.

He offered to fund the security rather than ask taxpayers to foot the bil.

Harry is now arguing his private protection team in the US does not have access to UK intelligence needed to keep safe Meghan, Archie, three, and Lilibet, 11 months.
