PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle want baby daughter Lilibet to be christened in front of the Queen at Windsor, it’s reported.
The Sussexes‘ hopes for a royal ceremony are said to have been expressed during Harry’s UK visit for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue.
It would be Meghan’s first trip to the UK since last year’s Megxit when the couple left for the US.
A source told The Daily Mail: “Harry told several people that they want to have Lili christened at Windsor, just like her brother.
“They are happy to wait until circumstances allow.”
It comes after a row over whether Harry and Meghan asked the Queen if they could use her private nickname Lilibet for their baby girl,
LILIBET CHRISTENING
Harry threatened legal action against the BBC over claims he didn’t ask the Queen for permission.
The war of words was sparked when a Palace source told the BBC the Sussexes allegedly “never asked” Her Majesty about using her childhood nickname.
Harry then hit back just 90 minutes later saying his grandma was “supportive” of his choice of name and the couple wouldn’t have used it if this wasn’t the case.

Lilibet is still not listed on the royal website’s line of succession six weeks after her birth.
She is due to be added after the christening, and would replace Prince Andrew as eighth in line to the throne, the Mail reports.
Harry and Meghan’s son Archie was christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, in July, 2019.
Meghan made sure the christening was a “completely private affair” attended by just 22 guests, according to the couple’s unauthorised biography Finding Freedom.
ROYAL TENSIONS
Harry and Meghan refused to name their son’s godparents after he was christened while they were still senior and full-time royals.
Details of royal babies’ godparents had always been made public previously.
Earlier this month, Harry and William stood side-by-side at the unveiling of their mother’s statue at Kensington Palace.
The pair laughed and joked together as they came face-to-face for the first time since Prince Philip’s funeral in April.
But telations between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family are tense after their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview in March.
Harry made a series of allegations in the CBS Oprah chat — including claims a Royal Family member made racist comments about his unborn son.
Meghan accused an unnamed family member of raising concerns over her unborn baby’s skin tone.
She also said she had been left in tears by Kate over flower girl dresses in the lead up to the Sussexes’ royal wedding.
Meghan also broke down in tears as she revealed she told her husband she “didn’t want to be alive anymore” and had suicidal thoughts.
