PRINCE Harry has spoken about his “healing journey” and revealed he will attend the Invictus Games next month in a video message.

The Duke of Sussex admitted that he is both “excited and nervous” with just one month to go until the event.

The Invictus Games will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany, and runs from September 9 to September 16.

It comes after Prince Harry this week jetted off to Japan without Meghan.

But in a video message previously recorded in his Montecito mansion that emerged online today, Harry praised competitors for taking the next step on their “healing journey”.

And he said that the event was also part of his own journey.

The Duke also insisted that that the spectacle would be “the best games ever”.

Addressing the athletes he said: “You’re all on different parts of your healing journey’ before adding: ‘We all are – we always will be’.

“Good luck for the remaining few weeks, have fun, look forward to it. Being nervous is a good thing.

“We have 21 nations this year and can’t wait to have every continent represented. Except Antarctica – but still working on that.

“Thank you for your service, for your commitment, your determination in getting to this point. We are going to have a lot of fun and yeah, look forward to it.

“We’re ready to host you. It’s going to be the best games ever, the best games yet’”

Harry will reportedly be in Dusseldorf for the entirety of the games.

Meghan is expected to attend around half of it, including Harry’s speech at the closing ceremony.

The Duke is currently is in Asia and was pictured jetting off to Singapore today,

He was in Japan to take part in ISPS Sports Values Summit-Special Edition in Tokyo.

The Duke of Sussex was seen making his way through crowds, while proudly sporting a Archewell cap.

He appeared to be enjoying himself at the summit as he was spotted chatting to the likes of All Blacks rugby legend Dan Carter.

The Invictus Games begins on the day after the anniversary of the Queen’s death
