Explosive Claims Revealed in Omid Scobie's Endgame
Prince Harry will not be spending Christmas with his father Prince Charles or his brother Prince William in the UK, according to reports. The news comes after explosive claims were revealed in Omid Scobie's latest book, Endgame.
A Different Christmas Plan for Charles
Instead of being with his immediate family, Prince Charles will spend Christmas at Sandringham with the other members of the royal family, as well as Queen Camilla's children and grandchildren. It is believed that Charles has extended an invitation to Camilla's son Tom and daughter Laura to join the festive celebrations.
A California Christmas for Harry and Meghan
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are expected to celebrate Christmas in California with their children Archie and Lilibet, according to Tatler. This will be a departure from their previous Christmas celebrations, as the couple last spent the holiday at Sandringham in 2018, alongside Prince William and Princess Kate.
First Time Invitees
The guest list at Sandringham this year includes Camilla's son Tom, her daughter Laura, and her grandchildren Lola, Eliza, Louis, Gus, and Freddy. Camilla's devotion to her grandchildren was evident when she stitched their names into her Coronation dress earlier this year. Despite Harry's absence, Charles is said to have a close bond with Camilla's side of the family, hence the invitation.
Strained Relations Between Harry and Charles
Relations between Prince Harry and his father Prince Charles have reportedly soured following the publication of Omid Scobie's Endgame. Early copies of the book suggested that Kate and Charles were the two royals who made remarks about the skin color of Harry and Meghan's first child, Archie. This revelation comes just weeks after Harry broke his silence to call his father and wish him a happy birthday. Charles is also known to have had a conversation with Meghan during the transatlantic call.
Piers Morgan's Criticism
Controversial TV host Piers Morgan recently criticized Prince Harry, calling him "ruthless and greedy" after he was awarded £140,600 in his phone hacking battle against the Mirror's publisher. According to the Mail, Harry's friend James Haskell remarked that the prince was "still quite fun" before he met Meghan.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the matter.
