During his recent visit to Estonia, Prince William displayed solidarity with the Ukrainian people by wearing blue and yellow bracelets, colors representing Ukraine, given to him by students from a school set up for Ukrainian refugees.
Praising Ukrainian Resilience
Prince William praised the resilience of the Ukrainian people, describing them as "very strong, very smiley, and very spiritual people" with "good souls." He commended their positive outlook on the future despite facing difficult years.
Engagement with Locals
During his visit, Prince William participated in activities at the Freedom School, including joining a class and playing basketball. He also interacted with locals in Tallinn, shaking hands and taking selfies with them.
Gratitude for Operation Cabrit
Prince William expressed his gratitude to Estonia's President for Operation Cabrit, a project aimed at strengthening Nato's eastern flank. The mission's handover from the Royal Dragoon Guards to the Mercian Regiment, of which Prince William is colonel in chief, was also marked during his visit.
