PRINCESS Beatrice is expecting her first baby later this year and he or she could get a very unique royal title when they are born.
In May, Beatrice, 33, and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, announced they are having a child, and they will be the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild.
It is not expected that Her Majesty will give the newborn a title when they arrive, but they could get a unique one through Edoardo’s family.
Edoardo is actually an Italian count, so his children will also inherit a count or countess title.
Edoardo’s dad, Count Allessandro Mapelli Mozzi, explained to the Daily Mail: “Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation.

“He is a count, his wife will be a countess automatically and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna.”
Edo’s father has both British and Italian citizenship, but he cannot officially use his reported Italian title in the UK.
Edoardo currently has five-year-old son, Christopher Mapelli Mozzi, known as “Wolfie”, who he shares with ex-partner American architect Dara Huang.
Edoardo posted a sweet message to his wife Beatrice on Instagram last weekend, as she celebrated her 33rd birthday.
He wrote: “Happy birthday my love. I love you with all my heart.”
The couple got engaged in Italy in September 2019, before announcing their news to the world on September 26, 2019.
Revealing the proposal on Twitter, they said they were “extremely happy” to share the news.

They added: “We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married.”
The pair married on July 17, 2020.
Beatrice and Edoardo said “I do” surrounded by close family and friends in All Saints Chapel, Windsor Great Park.
The Queen’s granddaughter and the millionaire property developer were due to wed at the Chapel Royal, at St James’s Palace, in London, with 150 guests, in May.
Instead, a select group gathered for a more intimate ceremony with strict social distancing measures in place.
The Queen was driven with Prince Philip from Windsor Castle, where they had been isolating since March, three miles up the Long Walk and through Windsor Great Park to the private church.
