PRINCESS Eugenie proudly waved at the Platinum Jubilee flypast with her baby son August from the roof of Buckingham Palace today.

The Queen’s granddaughter shared a sweet picture of herself standing alongside her husband Jack Brooksbank as they watched the Trooping of the Colour.

She shared sweet snaps of the momentous family moment

The 32-year-old stole a closer view of the six-minute display, while her royal relatives scanned the skies from the balcony.

Eugenie lovingly placed her arm around her hubby as he clutched their one-year-old son, while excitedly pointing out the RAF planes.

She gushed in an Instagram post: “The most perfect day to celebrate 70 years.”

Despite enjoying the occasion in a private setting, the trio still dressed to impress as the Platinum Jubilee celebrations got underway.

The Princess topped her perfectly groomed brunette locks with a neutral fascinator and sported an elegant light blue lace dress.

Her beloved baby boy August donned a white shirt, while matching his mother in a brown baseball cap and blue bib.

Dad Jack, 36, opted for a black suit for the momentous event in honour of Her Majesty‘s 70 years on the throne.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were also pictured watching from the wings at the Major General’s Office as the military spectacular took place below.

The Red Arrows could be seen gliding through the blue skies in Eugenie’s snap, as temperatures hit 22C in the capital today.

And the spectators joining them on the rooftop let out cries of joy as the red white and blue trails soared overhead.

Other royals including Zara and Mike Tindall’s daughter Mia can also be seen in a short clip posted by Eugenie.

She seemed unphased by her father Prince Andrew’s absence after he tested positive for Covid.

The Palace announced he would not be attending the Service of Thanksgiving on Friday at St Paul’s Cathedral.

The Duke of York, 62, has seen Her Majesty in the last few days but she has been tested and not met with her son since his diagnosis.

Eugenie, who is the 12th in line to the throne, earlier said she hoped her child would inherit the Queen’s character.

She explained: “I think of my grannie and what she has stood for, for so many people and for our family during these 70 years.

“I’d love Augie to have her patience, her calmness and her kindness, while always being able to laugh at himself and keep a twinkle in his eye.”
