Peek inside Anmer Hall
Princess Kate recently shared a video with Prince William and their children playing in the woodlands near their 10-bedroom Norfolk home, Anmer Hall. The video gave a sneak peek inside the couple's lavish home, which was a wedding present from the Queen in 2011.
Renovations and changes
Before moving in, Anmer Hall underwent £1.5 million worth of renovations, including aesthetic and structural changes. The interior was tweaked, with the kitchen moved to the center of the home, a decision that puzzled the late Queen.
The family's favorite spot
The interior look of Anmer Hall was curated by Ben Pentreath, with architect Charles Morris overseeing structural changes. The family particularly enjoys the glass-lined "garden room," where they spend a lot of time discussing gardening techniques and enjoying meals together.
Outdoor activities and amenities
Located on the Sandringham Estate, Anmer Hall offers plenty of space for outdoor activities. The family makes use of climbing frames, a climbing wall, swings, and even birdwatching with binoculars. The estate also boasts a tennis court and a strong community of local friends.
