But despite the barrage of allegations detailed in Harry’s memoir Spare, “unbelievably loyal” William has vowed to stay silent.
A close pal of the future King told The Celeb Reportday Times: “It’s cruel, cowardly and so sad for William to keep taking the punches.
“William is a sitting duck because Harry knows he isn’t going to retaliate.”
The 40-year-old is now said to be focusing on Kate and his three kids as leaked allegations from the book spark mayhem.
But he is likely to be thinking strategically over how the Royal Family can move forward from Harry’s onslaught.
One such explosive allegation was that William threw Harry to the ground in a fit of rage in 2019 – smashing a dog bowl which cut up Harry’s back.
Other claims in the seismic memoir have turned the crosshairs onto William’s wife, Kate.
In an incendiary section of his biography, Harry revealed that in the run up to the royal wedding in 2018, Meghan told the Princess of Wales that she must have “baby brain”.
Harry also sensationally claimed Will and Kate encouraged him to wear his notorious Nazi uniform to a fancy dress party, according to a leaked excerpt from his book.
He says the now Prince and Princess of Wales “howled with laughter” when they saw him dressed up in the offensive outfit for the party in 2005.
“He’s handling it so well on the outside — inside he’s burning”, a friend warned.
One pal told The Celeb Reportday Times how surprised they were at Harry’s allegations – given the amount of “s***” his mates have on him that could make it into the mainstream.
“There’s so much stuff over the years that Harry has rung friends up about and said, ‘throw away that photo, promise you won’t speak about this”, they stressed.
Spare, out January 10, reveals Harry has taken cocaine, cannabis, magic mushrooms and even used laughing gas while Meghan was giving birth.
