THE QUEEN was seen grinning in green today as she attended the Royal Windsor Cup Final after she wished the England team good luck for tonight’s historical match.
Her Majesty stole the limelight at the Guards Polo Club in a lime green coat and matching hat as she joyfully watched her beloved equestrian sport today.

Her colourful clobber was elegantly accessorised with her favourite pearl necklace and a floral diamond-encrusted brooch.
The Monarch, 95, headed to the event in Berkshire alone but appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the action as she delightedly watched from the stands.
It was the latest royal appearance on an eventful Sunday of royal sporting engagements – with Kate Middleton heading to Wimbledon on the final day of the tennis tournament with her father Michael.
Prince Wills will also support Gareth Southgate’s side at Wembley this evening as England take on Italy in the Euro 2020 final.
The Duke of Cambridge had also taken part in the Out-Sourcing Inc Royal Charity Polo Cup 2021 at the Guards Polo Club on Friday in a match to raise funds and awareness of charities he supports.
The Queen had earlier sent the England team a poignant message of encouragement ahead of the game, praising the Three Lions for their “spirit, commitment, and pride”.
In a letter addressed to manager Gareth Southgate OBE, she wrote: “55 years ago I was fortunate to present the World Cup to Bobby Moore and saw what it meant to the players, management and support staff to reach and win the final of a major international football tournament.
“I want to send my congratulations and that of my family to you all on reaching the final of the European Championships, and send my good wishes for tomorrow with the hope that history will record not only your success but also the spirit, commitment, and pride with which you have conducted yourselves.”
The England squad responded to the “very, very special message”, saying: “Thank you for your support, Your Majesty.”
And Southgate said during a press conference shortly afterwards: “It has been fantastic to have the letter from the Queen and the Prime Minister to all of the team and the recognition the players have gone about this in the right way.”
The Monarch is expected to watch the historic game on TV at Windsor Castle, joining a 35-million strong audience also tuning in at home.
Footie fanatic William echoed his grandmother’s proud words and wished the boys “the very best of luck” and gushed: “I can’t really believe this is happening.”
Sharing a video of his message, the future king said: “Gareth, Harry, and to every member of the England team on and off the pitch, I just want to wish you the very best of luck for tonight.
“What a team performance it’s been. Every member of the squad has played their part, and all the back room team as well have been truly essential.
“I can’t really believe this is happening. So exciting and I just wish you the very best of luck.
“You bring out the very best of England and we are all behind you. The whole country is behind you. So, bring it home.”
