PEOPLE watching the Royal Variety Performance on ITV thought they saw Wayne Lineker switch up his career to become an acrobat.
The swanky do took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in attendance and was hosted by comedian Alan Carr.
But it was a performance by the Messoudi brothers that set tongues wagging.
The amazing acrobats appeared on the sixth season of Arabs Got Talent and revealed their dad Said had been training them since they were toddlers.
The topless trio showed off their amazing skills and after performing a few incredible stunts, decided to call their dad to join them.
Said decided to be a bit more clothed than his sons and appeared on stage in a tight shirt, grey waistcoat, fitted trousers and open bow tie.
But it was his snow white hair and matching beard that many thought resembled a more locally known celebrity.
“This acrobat dad’s got a touch of the Wayne Linekers #RoyalVarietyPerformance,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
Another asked: “Is that wayne liniker ? #RoyalVarietyPerformance.”
And a third wrote: “F*ck me, Wayne Lineker is having a go #RoyalVarietyPerformance.”
While many thought Said looked like Wayne Lineker, many more viewers couldn’t help but notice the dad’s hot bod and good looks.
Even host Alan Carr wanted to get in on the action and joined them onstage, ‘stripping off’ to show his six pack.
The Royal Variety Performance is an annual London event, with 2021 marking the fourth time that Prince William and wife Catherine have been in the audience, following their attendances in 2014 and 2017 and 2019.
The show raises money for struggling entertainers throughout the UK who require help due to ill health, old age, or having fallen on hard times.
