Prince William and Kate wowed on the red carpet

The Royal Variety Performance was actually filmed back on November 18, 2021.

The red carpet saw guests of honour the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive at the prestiguious event.

Kate looked radiant in a stunning green gown, while William wore a velvet blue tuxedo jacket with black trousers and a bow tie.

The dress Kate wore for the occasion was a recycled green gown by Jenny Packham.

The royal couple also sang the national anthem at the beginning of the event, which viewers will see when the show airs on ITV.

They previously attended the event in 2014, 2017 and 2019.

Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton were also at the big show

Kate’s parents joined their daughter for the occasion.

Carole and Michael tend to keep a low profile, but made sure they didn’t miss the Royal Variety Performance.

Kate is the couple’s eldest child, and she is followed by Pippa, and then James.

Michael and Carole are self-made millionaires thanks to their Party Pieces business.

The youngest of the Middletons was also at the event, making it a real family occasion.

James brought with him is new wife Alizée Thevenet.

The newlyweds were married in September 2021 in a secret ceremony in the French village of Bormes-les-Mimosas on the famous Côte d’Azur.

Businessman James is the proud owner of novelty marshmallow company Boomf.

He also runs the Cake Kit Company, which delivers bespoke sweet treats and baking kits for special occasions.

When Kate and William arrived at the event, she was greeted with a beautiful posy.

The flowers were given to her by 10-year-olds Poppy Clee and Rowan Clarke.

The royal couple chatted with the children for a while, and William asked them if they liked the music that would be performed at the event.

You will be able to watch it on ITV1 on December, 19, 2021 from 7:20pm.

The event features world class performers, theatre, incredible singers and top tier British comedy.

The proceeds from the evening will go towards the Royal Variety Charity, whose patron is Her Majesty The Queen.
