PRINCE Edward and wife Sophie meet Sun Gardening Editor Peter Seabrook at Chelsea Flower Show — and took home a pink flower grown in memory of his late wife Margaret.
Verbena Margaret’s Memory is also being planted at Buckingham Palace.
Margaret died from Covid last year. Peter, 85, said: “I have been overwhelmed by the generous comments from Chelsea Flower Show visitors who have got so much pleasure from growing Margaret’s Memory.”
The Celeb Report has a 12ft Floral Fantasia pyramid at the show, which was built by gardener Molli Christmas.
Kids from Pershore High School, Worcs, grew dozens of bronze chrysanthemums for it as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
