FORECASTERS predict Brits will bask in the sunshine this Saturday as the country celebrates the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The Met Office predicts temperatures will soar to 19C to provide the perfect conditions for street parties and other outdoor events.
And it appears Her Majesty will kick off her Platinum Party at The Palace as “sunny spells” brighten the UK.
It’s music to the ears of patriots partying al fresco after concerns the entire historical weekend would be a washout.
Met meteorologists have long warned a rogue low-pressure system could drive temperatures down and bring rain for the Bank Holiday.
But conditions are continuing to improve throughout the week before the bonanza begins on Thursday.

Showers will persist over the next few days, before the weather becomes “generally more settled”.
Although still open to some uncertainty, Saturday will see patchy cloud and sunny spells – with highs of 19C.
However, revellers have been warned light rain – mainly across the far north – could make an appearance, but it looks unlikely to dampen spirits.
But the Met did suggest the far southeast could be hit by some heavier showers, depending on how a plume of warm air develops.
Deputy Chief Meteorologist Helen Caughey said: “While it may be an unsettled start for some with showers for northern and western areas, many areas will see generally settled conditions over much of the long Jubilee Weekend, with plenty of dry weather and good spells of sunshine.
“Temperatures will be widely into the low 20s, feeling warmer in the sunshine, although temperatures will drop off quickly into the evenings.
“The main source of any uncertainty for the weekend itself is to do with how far a plume of warm air to the south encroaches over southern areas of the UK.”
The sunshine is set to roll in as a reward for Brits who endure the chilly week ahead – with hail and thunder forecast.
Brisk winds are barrelling in from the north ahead of the four-day Bank Holiday weekend.
However, Brits are hoping the glorious sunshine will return in time for festivities after cooler temperatures this week.
Rainfall is set for the next few days and temperatures this weekend will only peak at 24C – relatively balmy compared the Tuesday’s record-breaking 27.5C.
