PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle have released a stunning new trailer to tease their controversial new Netflix show.

The royal couple gave fans a glimpse of never-before-seen clips in an explosive video for their upcoming docuseries.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have concerned royals in recent months over potential revelations they could make in the docuseries.

The long-awaited £88million show is set to hit screens in one week’s time – with the trailer dropping just hours after Princess Kate and Prince William arrived in the US.

And fans were whipped into a frenzy after behind-the-scenes clips were teased in a new 59-second posted to Twitter by Netflix.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex previously promised to offer an insight into their “love story” on the show.

And they look to have delivered on that pledge, with the trailer offering a glimpse of unseen clips of the two in recent times.

Meghan is seen in the trailer looking distraught while on the phone, as she then tells the viewers: “When the stakes are this high – doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”

Unseen photos and videos of the couple dancing, playing guitar and taking selfies have also been shared in the trailer.

Viewers were also given a snapshot of Meghan when she was pregnant.

Fans are eager to get a look into their lives behind the scenes, with Harry telling fans that “nobody sees what happens behind closed doors”.

The couple stunned the world when they left their royal duties and moved to California in January 2020.

But their new show is set to give a stunning glimpse into the turmoil – with the trailer beginning with the pair being asked: “Why did you want to make this documentary?”

Following the passing of the Queen while the show was being filmed, the royal couple reportedly requested a delay to the show – putting them at loggerheads with Netflix chiefs.

Royal biographer and close friend of Meghan Markle Omid Scobie said that the series would offer viewers “commentary from friends, family, and historians discussing the state of the British Commonwealth today”.

He added it would give a glimpse of “the Royal Family’s relationship with the press”, while also aiming to “paint a picture of our world and how we treat each other”.

The series will be named Harry and Meghan, and is said to tell their “side of the story” over six episodes.
