MEGHAN Markle gushes about wanting to be a “London girl” and loves “London men” in an unearthed video.

The Duchess of Sussex opened up to her ex-pal Lizzie Cundy at a red carpet event – and made no secret of her interest in staying in the UK.

In the unseen footage, Meghan can be heard saying: “I’ve had the best time in London, fans are amazing

“It is very cold but the people are so warm as cheesy as that sounds, I was joking that I’ve never been called ‘love’ or ‘darling’ more in my life it makes me want to stick around for a while.”

It comes after model Lizzie revealed just how much Meghan was enamoured with the city.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said:”We have a clip of her saying: “I want to be a London girl, I love London men and I love everything to do with London.

“I was asked to look after Meghan when she came over here. She wanted to meet someone.”

However, she claimed she had been “dropped” by Meghan after her star began to rise.

Cundy first met Meghan after being asked to accompany her to a charity dinner in 2013.

And just three years later, Meghan met Prince Harry with the couple going on to tie the knot in 2018.

The couple first lived in London with Kate Middleton and Prince Harry but later moved to Windsor with reports they wanted to escape the “goldfish bowl” live of being a Royal.

But after barely 18 months of marriage the couple announced they would be quitting the Royal Family.

After a brief stint living in Canada, the couple have since settled in LA with their son Archie.

This year, they welcomed daughter Lilibet.

Since their move, Meghan and Harry have been busy, signing multi-million pound deals with Spotify and Netflix.

Meghan, who rose to stardom on the legal drama Suits, also voiced a Disney Plus documentary about Elephants before writing a picture book about the bond between father and son, The Bench.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry has tried his hand at writing a book – revealing he was preparing to release a memoir.

The book, written by a ghostwriter, is expected to see the 36-year-old duke be “wholly truthful”.

But royal experts have warned the prince could be shredding any chance at reconciliation with his family with the memoir.
