Who is Stephanie Phillips?

Stephanie Phillips is the half-sister of Princess Anne‘s daughter Zara Tindall.

She attended the prestigious school Dean Close School in Cheltenham growing up.

After A-levels, she studied Business Management at the University of Worcester.

Just like her mother and sister, Stephanie is an accomplished equestrian.

She has competed in events from Wellington International Horse Trials, the West Wiltshire trials and even gained sponsorship from saddle maker Voltaire Design.

She grew up at Aston Farm on the Gatacombe Estate, which was close to where her royal half-siblings lived with their mother.

Despite keeping a relatively low profile, she has been present at quite a few royal events.

Mark was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into The Queen’s Dragoon Guards in July 1969.

By the time he married Princess Anne, he had risen to the rank of acting Captain.

He retired from the Army in 1978 after being appointed a personal aide-de-camp to Queen Elizabeth II in 1975.

He and Princess Anne shared two children together before divorcing in 1992.

He married his second wife in 1997, also a lover of horses and an accomplished equestrian.

The couple shared just one child together before separating on May 3, 2012.

Stephanie’s mother is Helen Sandy Pfleuger and she was born in Hawaii on April 14, 1954.

Helen was part of the US Olympic dressage team at the 1984 Olympic games in Los Angeles.

She competed in many other competitions as well and remains part of the equestrian community.

She is still an active dressage and eventing jury member and was a member of the jury during the Olympic games in 2016.
