A year later, he sold the plot of land to another of his firms, JP3 Investments LLC, for the same amount. The area is known for its commercial use and is home to industries such as a neighboring portable toilet cleaning and rental company.

A Lawsuit and Settlement

In 2018, a lawsuit was filed against Fluker Transportation, JP3 Investments, and Wayne Mitchell Holdings LLC, which owns some of the land. The lawsuit was filed by residents living nearby who complained about the incessant noise and smell caused by the diesel vehicles. They sought extensive damages for the loss of enjoyment of their property and the devaluation of their homes. Jamie Watson countered by stating that the area is expected to have a certain level of noise due to the nearby commercial operations and interstate. The case was eventually settled in February 2019, with noise restrictions being imposed.

The Forest Hideaway

In March 2020, Jamie Lynn and Jamie purchased 180 acres of forest land to build their dream home. The property, located 25 miles north of Hammond, is next to Jamie's parents' estate. They obtained a mortgage for $397,800 and have the option to increase the loan to a maximum of $50 million. The couple has been discreet about their new home but has left clues on social media, including photos of cleared out dead trees and a digger cleaning the woods. Jamie Lynn's mother-in-law was even seen walking inside the wooden framework of the half-built house.
