A PLACE in the Sun presenter Leah King could barely hide her shock after a couple of house hunters decided to leave a property midway through a viewing.
On Monday evening’s episode, viewers were whisked away to Costa de la Luz in Spain for the latest instalment of the Channel 4 property show.
Presenter Leah guided house hunters Carrie and Steve around the area in a bid to find them their dream holiday home.
Armed with a budget of just £110,000, Leah had a challenge on her hands.
They told Leah they were looking for a two-bedroom property as close to the beach as possible.
But the presenter struggled to impress Carrie and Steve with her first property, with the couple complaining there wasn’t enough space.
However, Leah hoped to make a better impression with the second apartment she had lined up for them.
As they arrived at the second property, Leah explained it was a two-bedroom apartment on a golf complex.
The holiday home also featured outdoor space and a roof terrace with a view of the communal pool.
It was on the market for slightly over the couple’s budget, priced at around £116,500.
While Carrie and Steve confessed the apartment was more spacious than the previous property, it soon became clear they still weren’t happy.
“I’m getting the feeling here this probably isn’t working out,” Leah laughed.
Carrie replied: “I still don’t particularly feel like this is a lovely place to be. I just think… a bit gloomy.”
“Alright, so shall we just call it quits here then?” Leah asked. “Would you like to see the rest of the property?”
Steve swiftly replied: “No, I think we can call it a day.”
Unimpressed viewers soon took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the picky couple.
One questioned: “Why don’t they even look at the rest of the flat? I mean, that’s so rude, like, why would you even do that?
While another simply penned: “They’ve given Leah a difficult pair for her first show.”
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4.
