A PLACE in the Sun’s Danni Menzies has landed a new TV gig away from the Channel 4 show.
The 33-year-old has been a presenter on the popular show since 2016 and has won a legion of fans in the process.
But now Danni has signed has signed up for a new project, Ex In The City, which starts on October 20 on MTV.
The dating show will see Danni and her fellow stars go on blind dates in London, only for an ex-lover to arrive too.
The show is a spin-off to Ex On The Beach, which has proved difficult to film due to Covid rules and restrictions.
Danni will be joined by a host of former Love Islanders including Leanne Amaning, Eve Gale, Joshua Ritchie, Arabella Chi and Jack Fincham.
They will be joined by Big Brother star Imogen Thomas and Towie favourites Bobby Norris and Demi Sims.
Two familiar faces from The Circle will also be taking part – Manrika Khaira and Freddie Bentley.
Ibiza Weekender stars Callum Izzard and Deano Bailey have also signed up alongside Drag Race star Tia Kofi, Celebs Go Dating hunk Levi Davis and Olympian gymnast Lisa Mason.
Danni’s last romance was with army veteran Simon Moloney, however the couple split in August 2020 after a few months of dating during lockdown.
It is not yet known if Simon will be the ex who turns up on the new show to reunite wth Danni.
Ex in the City starts on October 20 on MTV.
