Jasmine, 44, hit out at the user, who criticised a minidress she wore recently.
The presenter captioned the post: “Last week one of my followers suggested that I ‘shouldn’t wear a minidress’ because it was ‘so incredibly unflattering for my age.’
“I’ve got to say, I was a bit affronted, being that my legs are probably the only part of my body I don’t already have a complex about…”
Speaking to her 107k followers on Instagram, the A Place in the Sun presenter continued: “But then I started wondering why someone (who said she was also in her mid 40’s) would want to bring me down like that? Wouldn’t it be so much nicer if we could lift each other up, support each other and be kind.

“Anyway, I figured my best response is to share a picture of me wearing a minidress, alongside my dear friend @laurahamiltontv who always inspires me with her body confidence!
“Even though on the day this picture was taken, I was having a confidence crisis, I think I pulled it off.
“The funny thing is, I’ve also had comments saying my style is ‘frumpy’ and I wear ‘granny’ dresses.
“I think the lesson here is to wear what you like and feel good in. You can’t please everyone, so please yourself!
Fans were quick to come to Jasmine’s defense, with one fan saying: “Fabulous photo and despite the comments you get you have to wear what makes you feel good, that’s all that matters.”
Another wrote: “Just jealous, stay confident and proud – age is not a barrier.”
While another said: “Jasmine you are stunning and have the most gorgeous legs! People only say unkind things out of jealousy. Keep wearing what you want.”
A fourth echoed: “Well there’s a follower you don’t need! Some people really have nothing better to do. You dress very well Jasmine.”
A fifth gushed: “You look stunning always Jas, and you have a pair of the best pins ever. Keep wearing your gorgeous dresses, minis and anything you feel like. Some people are just plain rude and should mind their own business.”
The popular TV presenter went on to thank a fan for “sticking up for her” after she responded to the comment, branding its writer “unkind”.
Jasmine’s pal, TV presenter, Laura Hamilton also commented on the post saying: “Jasmine you are one of the most beautiful people i know, inside and out and I am so grateful to have you in my life! You always look sensational.”
Jasmine’s clapback comes after the presenter recently broke down in tears during a particularly emotional episode of the property-hunting programme.
