The couple had a maximum budget of £250,000

Viewers were introduced to couple Vicki and Marvin who were looking to buy a holiday home.

The new abode would be enjoyed by the pair and there twins Paige and Oliver.

The couple had a maximum budget of £250,000.

Jasmine, 47, got to work in showing the couple properties in the Southeast of Spain in Mojacar.

However, after she showed the couple two properties Jasmine had sensed the couple weren’t getting the most out of their search.

She told Vicki and Marvin that she was going to abandon the current search and take them to San Juan de Los Terreros.

Explaining her decision, the presenter said the new area was more family-friendly where they and their children could enjoy.

She then showed them a three-bedroom apartment which boasted sea and mountain views.

The property came with three pools which went down a treat with the couple.

But Vicki and Marvin were left confused by Jasmine when she showed them their final property.

Priced at £300,862, this three-bed terrace apartment came with a made-to-order swimming pool.

“It’s a very big space, the kitchen is fantastic as well. Jasmine you have given us a problem, but a nice problem,” said Marvin.

Vicky told her: “I am confused at the minute,” as Marvin added: “I can picture where we can have our own stamp on something like this, that is where I am coming from.”

Shocked at their comments, Jasmine asked: “Right, so is it a bit of a difference in opinion?”

Jasmine was then left shocked as the pair revealed they wanted to make an offer on the apartment they had seen.

It was priced at £250,000 – and the couple’s original offer of £240k was rejected before their second offer of £244,000 being accepted.

A Place in the Sun airs weekdays from 3pm on Channel 4.
