The day before revealing her marriage breakdown, Laura told fans she was leaving the family home they had shared for nine years.

She posted a video to show how the couple had transformed the property where they brought up their children.

Laura explained they had made “incredible memories” there and admitted “change can be scary” as she closed the chapter.

“I wish I could say I look like this photo right now but I don’t because, since the start of the new year we have been packing up our home ready to move…

“Today we close the door and say goodbye to a home that we have loved and enjoyed for the last 9 years -the longest I have lived anywhere in my entire adult life!

“It was a home that we transformed (as you can see in the photos), but MORE importantly it was a home where we created some incredible memories that we will cherish forever…

“Change can be scary but you know what is scarier? Allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving and progressing.

“When it feels scary to jump that’s exactly when you jump, otherwise you just end up staying in the same place your whole life, and that I can’t do.”

Throughout their marriage, the pair have had to endure lengthy spells away from each other while Laura flies all over Europe to film her hit show.

But they’re also business partners, running a café called Lord Roberts on The Green together.

They had a fairytale wedding in Surrey surrounded by their celebrity pals including, Amanda Lamb, Michelle Heaton and Jeff Brazier, as well as Jayne Torvill and Sam Attwater, Denise Welch and Elen Rivas.

Their nuptials were heavily themed around several of their favourite movies.

Laura walked down the aisle to Ice Dance from the film Edward Scissorhands, while at the reception, the newlyweds entered the room to the theme tune from Rocky.

As the night went on at the reception, Laura serenaded her new husband with a rendition of Whitney Houston’s Saving All My Love For You.

Previously reflecting on her big day, Laura said: “The day was perfect in every way. Even better than I imagined it would be. I feel more complete now.”

Husband Alex echoed his wife’s sentiments, explaining: “The wedding was unbelievable, the most memorable day of our lives. It just cements our love for one another.”

Laura started presenting A Place In The Celeb Report in 2011 and has since become a fan favourite.

She first began developing properties at just 19 years old before turning her passion into a career.

Despite a hugely successful TV career, Laura recently admitted being subjected to online negativity during lockdown.

It came after the couple used their Purley-based restaurant put all their efforts into supplying essentials as well as offering a takeaway and delivery service during lockdown.

She told The Celeb Report’s Fabulous podcast it brought up bad memories of being bullied at school.

Laura said: “It really upset me in lockdown, when me and my family got attacked over our coffee shop.

“I was trying to do good by the community and then people put a load of abusive stuff on a Next Door app online.

“I read it and I ended up having a panic attack, which has never happened in my life and I didn’t know what was happening.

“It was because I was letting this negative stuff get to me. That’s the only other time I think it’s affected me.

“And I vowed after that, I would never let anything get to me again.

“It’s never acceptable when people are negative about anyone online.

“If it’s work and it’s presenting – not everyone will like your style. They might prefer another presenter over you and I think ‘ok, well you don’t need to say it, it’s better to keep it to yourself’.

“I read these things online about myself and my family and I think because it was personal about our family, that’s why I was like ‘oh my god’, is this really what people are saying and what people think.”
